The Ekiti State University is located in Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria, the university was founded in 1982 and it still remains one of the many state-owned universities in Nigeria.

It was founded on the 30th of March 1982, Chief Michael Adekunle Ajasin came up with the idea of establishing the university we now call EKSU, which began operation in 1984, Chief Michael Adekunle Ajasin was a professor by profession, he took his degrees from London University where he studied law and philosophy and he also obtained an LLB degree from Oxford University.

The school offers courses that cover diverse kinds of courses ranging from Engineering, Science and Technology, Health Sciences, Arts and Social Sciences as well as Law and Management Studies. 

It has produced graduates adequately equipped to handle contemporary socio economic and political issues on a global level through the study of Humanities, Social Sciences, and Business Administration among others. 

Ekiti State University established its first campus at Ore, near Ikole Local Government Area of Ekiti State.

  • School fees for the Faculty of  Agriculture from 100 level to 400 level are: ₦170,000 to ₦56,000
  • School fees for the Faculty of  Art and Humanities from 100 level to 400 level are: ₦170,000 to ₦56,000
  • School fees for the Faculty of Clinical Sciences from 100 level to 400 level are: ₦170,000 to ₦56,000

How to access EKSU school fees payment portal

Visit the school portal and log in. You will be redirected to the main page of EKSU Portal. Click on Transactions. Select Student Services from the drop-down menu in the upper right corner of the screen, then click on Payment Request and select Fee Payment. Fill in your school ID number and click on Pay.

Ekiti State University acceptance fee

The acceptance fee for Admissions to programs such as law, nursing, anatomy, physiology, and medicine for the next academic year at Ekiti State University is ₦107,000, meanwhile, for every other course like Medicine, their acceptance fee is ₦57,000.
